GAO is responsible for preparing most financial reports and submitting them to the sponsor. Financial reports that GAO typically prepares includes (but is not limited to):

• SF 425 - Federal Financial Report (FFR)
• SF 272 - Federal Cash Transaction Report
• SF 270 - Request for Advance or Reimbursement
• NIH 2706 - NIH Financial Report
• Contractor's Assignment (Close-out document for contracts)
• Contractor's Release (Close-out document for contracts)
