Free Research Security Webinar, October 7

Dear Research Administrators,

I am pleased to invite you to a regional webinar on research security, led by the Director of The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), Dr. Kelvin Droegemeier, and supported by the National Science Foundation.  The webinar is being hosted by the University of Minnesota and several other institutions from Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oregon and North Dakota have been invited to participate. 

The title of the presentation is “Enhancing the Security and Integrity of America’s Research Enterprise.”  Dr. Droegemeier will provide an update on the many activities undertaken by OSTP and others during the past several months, provide examples of risks to research security that can harm the enterprise, and provide an update on steps being taken by OSTP and agency partners to address risks to security and integrity while maintaining an open and collaborative enterprise.

The webinar will be presented on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM CT/12:00 – 1:15 PM ET. This 75 minute webinar will include time for questions and answers from the host institution. You will need to register in order to attend.
