NIH NRSA Training Grant Statement of Appointment Forms

A Statement of Appointment Form (2271 Form) must be submitted electronically via xTrain within the NIH eRA Commons before or at the start of each trainee’s appointment or reappointment.  No stipend or other allowance may be paid from the Training Grant until the appointment form has been submitted.

• The Statement of Appointment Form should be initiated by the PI (or his/her Delegate) and routed through xTrain for electronic signature by the:
  • Trainee
  • PI
